Reluminate Labs was founded by Colton Milbrandt on a simple conviction: technology should leave people more human than it found them.

Colton is an operator and a builder. He previously served as President and CFO of Rent Buddy, where he led a team of 14 to ship an all-in-one rental-management platform, and has spent nearly a decade in financial leadership and analysis. He holds an MBA and a B.S. in Finance — and writes the code too, building full-stack with React and Next.js.

That combination — knowing what makes a business work and being able to build the product himself — is the foundation of the lab. As he puts it: “I enjoy finding simple solutions that challenge how we think about complex problems.”

Reluminate is built on that idea: take on one everyday human problem at a time, build a focused product around it, and grow the ones that work into companies of their own. The first is Bettycart.
