Go Stand Up Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
Go Stand Up is a pass-the-phone party game made by Reluminate Labs LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.
Information we collect
The app has no accounts. We don’t ask for your name, email, phone number or address, and the app doesn’t access your location or contacts.
1. App ID
The first time you open the app, our server creates a random ID and a secret token and stores them on your device. We use them to keep track of your free rounds, purchased rounds and Party Pass. This ID is not your device’s hardware ID or advertising ID.
2. What you type into the game
When a round starts, the app sends our server:
- the player names you enter;
- the topic or custom prompt for each player;
- the game settings: comedy style, game mode (including whether Family Mode is on), and the number of players.
We use these to write the routines. We store the player names and topics, each routine that was written, which routine the room voted as the winner, and a quality score the AI gives each routine.
Please don’t put sensitive information in names or prompts, such as health details or addresses.
3. Game and purchase records
- Rounds: when each round started and finished, whether it used a free round, a purchased round or the Party Pass, the game mode, whether Family Mode was on, and the number of players.
- Paywall events: when you ran out of rounds, the game mode, the number of players and your round balance at that moment.
- Purchases: the product you bought, the transaction ID, and any refund or cancellation. We don’t receive your name, card number or billing address.
4. Content reports
You can report a routine written by the AI. When you do, the app sends it to our server, and we store:
- the reason you pick: offensive, hateful, sexual, dangerous or other;
- an optional note you type, up to 500 characters;
- a copy of the routine’s text, and the topic and comedy style it was written from;
- the AI model that wrote it, the game mode, and whether Family Mode was on;
- your app ID, the date of the report, and its review status.
A report doesn’t include an account, email address or the player name field. Routines usually mention the performer by name, though, so the copied text often includes the name you entered, and so can the topic or your note.
5. Microphone (laugh meter)
If you allow microphone access, the app measures how loud the room is while a routine is performed, to score the laughs. The audio is processed on your device to get a volume level. It is not uploaded to us or anyone else, and it is deleted when the measurement ends. You can turn off microphone access in your device settings and still play without the laugh meter.
6. Information stored on your device
The app saves your current game, game history and settings on your device. This information is not sent to us, and deleting the app deletes it.
7. Technical information
Our service providers record basic request information, such as IP address, time and app version, in operational logs used to run the service and fix problems.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- write the routines and run the game;
- check whether a round is allowed and keep track of the rounds and passes you’ve bought;
- prevent abuse, for example by limiting how often a device can generate routines;
- review routines players report, and improve our safeguards against harmful AI-written content;
- understand how the game and its pricing are working;
- fix bugs and keep the service secure; and
- meet legal obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. The app has no ads and doesn’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites, so it doesn’t respond to Do Not Track signals.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers that help us run the app:

AI model providers. Routines are currently written by a DeepSeek model run by US-hosted providers (Fireworks AI, DeepInfra or Baseten), not by DeepSeek itself. We may also use models from Anthropic, OpenAI or Google.
Content reports are stored on our servers, which Supabase hosts, and are reviewed only by us. We don’t send them to AI model providers or anyone else.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of our users or others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
How long we keep it
- Player names, topics and routines: deleted after 30 days. We keep a record that a routine was generated (time, style and model), without the text, for rate limiting and cost tracking. A reported routine’s copy is kept with the report, as described below.
- Content reports: deleted 12 months after the report is made. We keep them longer than routines so a report can still be reviewed after the 30-day deletion.
- Round, paywall and purchase records: as long as we need them to provide your rounds and passes, handle refunds, and meet accounting and legal obligations.
- Operational logs: for the period each service provider retains them.
- On-device data: until you delete the app.
Your choices and rights
- Microphone: you can turn it on or off in your device settings.
- On-device data: deleting the app deletes the data it stores on your device, including the app ID.
- Access or deletion: email colton@reluminatelabs.com. Because there are no accounts, we can only find your records if you include the transaction or order ID from your Apple or Google purchase receipt. Without a purchase, we can’t identify your records.
Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, the UK or California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, or to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We respond to requests as required by applicable law.
Legal basis (EEA/UK users): we process your game content to provide the game you asked for (performance of a contract). We process purchase and usage records to provide your purchases, prevent abuse and improve the game (our legitimate interests), and to meet legal obligations.
International transfers: we and our service providers are based mainly in the United States. If you use the app from outside the US, your information may be processed there.
Children
Go Stand Up is intended for people 16 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a younger child has used the app, contact us and we’ll delete their information.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections between the app and our servers. No system is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date.
